Sharqiya State Security Arrests 2 MBs

State security detectives in Bilbeis, Ahmed Abdul Salam and Ahmed Ramadan and others arrested Mahmoud Abdul Qader, BA graduate from the village of Bani Saleh, and Ahmed Ibrahim Idris, an employee at 10th of Ramadan from village of Mit Mala, after performing the noon prayer at Al-Tahirat mosque.

State security detectives in Bilbeis, Ahmed Abdul Salam and Ahmed Ramadan and others arrested Mahmoud Abdul Qader, BA graduate from the village of Bani Saleh, and Ahmed Ibrahim Idris, an employee at 10th of Ramadan from village of Mit Mala, after performing the noon prayer at Al-Tahirat mosque.

They appeared before the public prosecution of Bilbeis and it ordered them released but Bilbeis state security did not release them. They are currently detained in Bilbeis police station and are denied food upon orders from the state security sevice. They are reportedly arrested against the background of being Muslim Brotherhood (MB) activists in latest elections of the Shura Council, Egypt"s upper chamber of parliament.
