More Detentions Among Monoufia Students
Just ahead of the first semester, Egyptian security forces in the governorate of Monoufia, north of Cairo, raided on Wednesday at dawn, Sep. 5th, 2007, houses of five university students at Monofiya and arrested them.

Just ahead of the first semester, Egyptian security forces in the governorate of Monoufia, north of Cairo, raided on Wednesday at dawn, Sep. 5th, 2007, houses of five university students at Monofiya and arrested them.

The students are: Mohamed Abdul Malik, Khaled Al Shorbagi, Ahmed Abdul Hamid, Abdul Rahman Shokri and Ahmed Al Laithi. Three of them were detained during the raid while two were not in their houses, Khaled Al Shorbagi and Abdul Rahman Shokri.

It is worth mentioning that the state security forces has siezed computers, mobile and some books and unvisersidy papers related to these students.

The relation between the Muslim Brotherhood students and the security has worsened specially after hundreds of students were detained last year in the ell-known case of Al-Azhar University students.
