The 16th session of the military tribunal trying Muslim Brotherhood (MB) leaders , topped by eng. Khairat Al-Shater the MB second deputy chairman, was adjourned till next Wednesday, Sep, 26th.

The military tribunal, trying 39 MB leaders on money laundry charges, has been repeatedly adjourned.

The security forces have prevented on Monday Khurrum Wahid, a prominent US lawyer and a civil rights activist and Mrs. Nurah Rosalie P. Jeter, a US top human rights activist and a founder and Executive Director of the Muslim Women’s Institute for Research and Development (MWIRD), from attending the fifteenth military session against MB leaders.

The US human rights delegation, which was denied access to the court, is scheduled to hold a press conference on Tuesday at noon in the Egyptian bar association.

The press conference will be held in coordination with the defence team of the detained Muslim Brotherhood leaders.
