Abul Fattouh Afifi, a Muslim Brotherhood (MB) leader and chairman of the MB administrative office in Monofiya, has been released on Tuesday for health reasons and after his release decision was issued on Monday.

Abul Fattouh Afifi, a Muslim Brotherhood (MB) leader and chairman of the MB administrative office in Monofiya, has been released on Tuesday for health reasons and after his release decision was issued on Monday. Afifi was hospitalized in the French building of Al-Qasr Al-Aini hospital after he developed a blood clot after which he was moved from Torah farm prison to hospital after security procrastinations .
 
Abul Fattouh Afifi, 90 years, was arrested while he was visiting MPs Ragab Abu Zeid and engineer Sabri Amer on April, 29th, 2007, in a case fabricated by the state security against both MPs and was proved to be groundless.
 
Haj Abul Fattouh Afifi received two previous releases but he got arrested along with his fellow MB members for about six months .
