State security forces in Al Fayum Governate detained 25 Muslim Brotherhood (MB) leaders, topped by Dr. Ahmed Abdul Rahman, the manager of Makka Specialized Hospital . The detainees included also blogger Ahmed Mohsen, the administrator of http://eyestillopen.blogspot.com/.

Ahmed is one of the Egyptian youth who spearheaded the campaign of making public the barbaric tortures committed by the Interior Ministry and its protégés in Al Fayum Governate. He made public the crime of torturing and killing a resident in the governorate at the hands of police officers. He contacted media outlets to cover the savage incident and he helped- through his contacts- "Egyptians against Torture" to organize a press conference with the family of the dead victim at the Bar Association in Cairo to reveal the bargains traded to the family to make it withdraw the lawsuit which it filed against the killers.

As for Dr. Ahmed Abdul Rahman, he owns Makka Specialized hospital which hosted the above mentioned Al Fayyum dead victim, Mohamed Gomaah Al Dahshouri, after officers of Al Fayyum police stations dismissed him from the public hospital in the governorate. He was moved to Makka hospital where he died and Dr. Ahmed Abdul Rahman wrote a report about the health of Al Fayyum dead victim when he came to his hospital. He submitted the report to the public prosecution.
