The Muslim Brotherhood (MB) in Egypt has offered its condolences over the death of Abdullah Bin Hussein Al Ahmar- the chairman of the Yemeni Congregation for Reform and House speaker and the top tribal leader, who died on Saturday morning in King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh .

Mohamed Mahdi Akef, the Muslim Brotherhood chairman, said in a statement: "with the death of Al-Ahmar, the Arab and Muslim Nation lost one of the best leaders in Islamic action, top Da"wa figure and a leading reformist who was always burdened with the serious issues and causes of the nation. He witnessed these causes and worked restlessly to solve them.

The MB chairman detailed Al Ahmar"s history in defending the revolution and Republic of Yemen , unaffected by the volatile political conditions in Sanaa, until battles ended in January 1970, after which he was elected Yemeni Shura Council speaker in the same year. May Allah have mercy on him.
