MB Military Tribunal Adjourned till Sunday Jan, 13th
The military tribunal trying 40 Muslim Brotherhood leaders was adjourned till January, 13th, 2008. Tuesday’s session witnessed completing the defense pleading for Hassan Malek, a famous businessman and the number two defendant in the case.

The military tribunal trying 40 Muslim Brotherhood leaders was adjourned till January, 13th, 2008. Tuesday"s session witnessed completing the defense pleading for Hassan Malek, a famous businessman and the number two defendant in the case.
 
The pleading included Dr. Abdul Raouf Mahdi, a professor of criminal law at Mansoura University , Saleh Al-Sunusi and Ulfat Ahmed, the first female lawyer to defend the Muslim Brotherhood leaders in this case .
 
Lawyer Saleh Al-Sunusi said the military court is incompetent and shouldn"t hear the case of the MB leaders.
 
Dr. Abdul Raouf Magdi gave a definition to terrorism and confirmed that there is no crime against thought and there is crime against a man who believes in any though. The crime is- he said- against the illegal target or method adopted. He added that the case documents lack any illegal action that may incriminate the defendants.
 
For her part, Ulfat Ahmed said that the expert report said that Malek owns a number of companies without stating any proof on this, and that it was revealed later that he doesn"t own these companies. She cited Al-Farida company which was frozen by the court but it ended the freeze it was revealed that it doesn"t belong to businessman Hassan Malek.
