9 Alex MBs Arrested after Peacefully Demonstrated for Gaza

Al-Montazah Prosecution decided extension of imprisonment under investigation for 15 days against 9 MB members in the coastal City of Alexandria, after running some peaceful demonstrations in the city squares in which they condemned the Israeli incursions against Gaza and sent a message of support to the besieged Palestinians

Al-Montazah Prosecution decided extension of imprisonment under investigation for 15 days against 9 MB members in the coastal City of Alexandria, after running some peaceful demonstrations in the city squares in which they condemned the Israeli incursions against Gaza and sent a message of support to the besieged Palestinians.

The detainees are:
1. Ahmad Ibrahim Al-Sayyid, BA in Islamic Law.
2. Hossam Eddine Abdul-Mon’im, manager in a petroleum company.
3. Nour-Eddine Naguib Abdul-Halim, schoolteacher.
4. Muhammad Hussein Muhammad, social specialist.
5. Mahmoud Abdul-Latif Mahmoud, engineer.
6. Muhammad Abdul-Hakim Muhammad, agricultural engineer.
7. Muhammad Abdul-Gawwad Hassan, contactor.
8. Osama Othman Ismail.
9. Amir Othman Ismail.

Legally-speaking, the prosecution charged the nine MBs with inciting riots and rallying without license.
