The Egyptian security authorities launched large-scale dawn raids in the Egyptian governorates of Giza, Gharbiya, Dakahleya, Kafr Al-Shiehk, Fayyoum & Alexandria. These crackdowns targeted MB leaders in Egypt’s most vital cities and districts.
The number of today’s arrests skyrocketed to 165 detainees; 50 in Fayyoum, 17 in Dakahleya, 15 in Giza, 13 in Gharbeya, 7 in Kafr Al-Shiekh & 4 in Alexandria. Note-worthy, the security authorities belted all Cairo entrances for preventing the MB members from participation in the anticipated demonstration in front of the Arab League today afternoon. Numbers of the abducted MBs on these entrances still unknown. |
