MPs Demand Egypt to Withhold Gas Exports to Israel
During stormy parliament session, Muslim Brotherhood members criticized Egypt’s policy of continuing to export natural gas to Israel which is cutting power supplies to Palestinians in Gaza.

During stormy parliament session, Muslim Brotherhood members criticized Egypt’s policy of continuing to export natural gas to Israel which is cutting power supplies to Palestinians in Gaza. “Exporting gas to Israel is a crime” shouted Hamdy Hassan, MB member from Alexandria, adding “Israel is committing ethnic cleansing against Palestinians”. MB members Sayed Askar and Mohamed al Beltagy echoed the same sentiment demanding that the minister of oil and natural resources Mr. Sameh Fahmy to immediately withhold gas exports to Israel and direct it to the aid of besieged Palestinians in Gaza. |
