The Administrative Judicial Court in Fayoum governorate has annulled the municipal elections in all the city’s local constituencies. The court’s verdict issued on Sunday (April 6th) comes after 22 MB candidates in Fayoum could not be enlisted in the elections despite the court verdicts to enroll them.

The Administrative Judicial Courts in both Cairo, and Ismailia governorates have also annulled municipal elections in all constituencies in Cairo, Giza, and Sharqiya.

Such court verdicts are issued two days before the start of municipal elections which are to be held on April 8th.

Noteworthy, many court verdicts have been issued during the last week annulling municipal elections and the president’s call for elections, and fining the Administrative Authority in charge in a number of governorates for not implementing the verdicts related to enlisting the MB candidates names in the candidate lists.
