Defying the West’s interference in Iran’s peaceful nuclear programs, Tehran has installed 6000 centrifuges in its nuclear facilities.

Despite western states’ earlier avowal that they would permit Tehran to put only 10 centrifuges into operation each year, Iran has made an enormous progress in the field and is now operating 6,000 centrifuges in its nuclear facilities, Ahmad Musavi who is a top aide to President Mahmud Ahmadinejad, said in a meeting with the Secretary of Syria’s Baath Party in Ladhiqiyah Province.

Musavi also commented that Iranian scientists are now highly specialized in the field of nuclear technology.

The official, who is also Iran’s ambassador to Damascus, referred to Tehran-Damascus commonalities and said that efforts should be made to exploit the two countries’ full potentials to further deepen ties between the two nations.

The Syrian official, for his part, praised Iran’s resistance against the United States and Europe, saying the Islamic states should take a unified stance and resist their common enemies.
