The Muslim Brotherhood expresses deep sorrow and concern over the ongoing infighting among Lebanese factions in Beirut. We fear that the situation will deteriorate, leading to dangerous disputes and bloodshed.

The Muslim Brotherhood calls on all factions to end all forms of violence in streets, to withdraw fighters, and to start national dialogue that can help reach a work plan to rescue Lebanon, preserve its constitutional bodies, and honors resistance against Israeli occupation.

The Brotherhood calls on the Arab League to interfere as a mediator to prevent foreign intervention that might threaten Lebanon’s security and stability.
