Victims of al Doweqa rock slide rose to 79 according to Tuesday’s figures, Ikhwanweb reporter said. Four of these are rescue men who died under a fallen rock while they were performing their job. Eyewitnesses say the accident of the rescue men is another indication of the chaotic and disorganized way of searching for lost ones. The four rescue personnel dug an opening in a big rock to search underneath for lost people. Suddenly the rock slid over them leading to their death. Also, another rock dropped on a six- floors house without any news of rescuing any of those inside. Security forces cordoning the event location bypassed the people"s appeal for help. Moreover, they established pavilions to protect them from the sun rays leaving the people search for their relatives themselves, eyewitnesses and Ikhwanweb reporter said. Moreover, the police forces cordoned Al-Doweqa district to deny the access of the media figures and journalists to the place unless licensed by the Ministry of Interior despite the appeals for help by the people to the journalists for disclosing the real sufferings of the victims" relatives. |
