3 Sharqiya MBs Released
Egyptian authorities released on Friday Ahmed Abdul Maqsoud, a former Secretary-General of the Teachers’ Syndicate. The security services detained him on Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007 in a sweep that included arresting 20 Muslim Brotherhood leaders in Sharqiya and more than 79 MB leaders nationwide. Also released were Gamal Ahmed Hassaan, engineer, Fakous, and  Mohamed Zaki Abdu

Egyptian authorities released on Friday Ahmed Abdul Maqsoud, a former Secretary-General of the Teachers’ Syndicate. The security services detained him on Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007 in a sweep that included arresting 20 Muslim Brotherhood leaders in Sharqiya and more than 79 MB leaders nationwide.
 
Also released were Gamal Ahmed Hassaan, engineer, Fakous, and 
Mohamed Zaki Abdul Hamid, orthopedist at Kinayat hospital, Zagazig, whom the Egyptian authorities detained on Thursday March, 15, 2007, in a sweep of arrests that included 19 MB leaders in Sharqiya, after raiding and ransacking their houses.
 
It’s worth mentioning that the prosecution prolonged the jail of 32 others on Wednesday April, 11, 2007.
