Signatures Campaign to Release Students
Students of Helwan University launched a campaign of signatures Sunday, November 2, to endorse the release of detained students. On the second day of the campaign, seven thousand students signed, as stated by Ahmed Sobhy, media spokesman of the MB students at the university.

Students of Helwan University launched a campaign of signatures Sunday, November 2, to endorse the release of detained students. On the second day of the campaign, seven thousand students signed, as stated by Ahmed Sobhy, media spokesman of the MB students at the university.

Meanwhile, the security arrests against students are being escalating, as three students were arrested at Helwan University during this academic year, while scores of others were arrested from different Egyptian Universities.

Sooner, Abdul-Aziz Megahed, Former Secretary of Students’ Free Union at Helwan University, were arrested from the SSI headquarters at Lazoghly, when he headed the state security to receive his laptop and camera -were taken previously by the SSI while arresting him – but he was surprised Saturday, November 1, by arresting him -after procrastination to receive his belongings- without any charge or justification for his arrest.
