In a press statement to Ikhwanweb, MB Lawyer Electoral List Head Abdul-Monem Abdul-Maqsud accused the Egyptian government of Opposing all sectors of the Egyptian society from teachers and pharmacists to judges and even trailer drivers.

“This government is run by businessmen who deny the poor people’s right to live or litigate to settle conflicts.  It wants to burn the poor to relieve itself from them and so that none are left for them to deal with but the businessmen whom they have interests with,” Abdul-Maqsud added.

Moreover, in response to the Parliament’s agreement on the litigation fees law which stirred lawyers’ anger, Abdul-Maqsud affirmed that MB lawyers will continue in their escalation and participate in the strike to be held today, Tuesday.

“This government is a failure and is not seeking reform but rather the destruction of every uprightly erected structure and annoyance of every peaceful,” Abdul Maqsud added.
