In a press statement on Thursday, April 2, the MB affirmed their stance concerning Egyptian people’s right to enjoy their constitutional and legal rights.

“Strikes, peaceful protests, and demonstration of anger are among citizens’ basic, constitutional and legal rights that should not be hampered or made void of their serious meaning,” the MB said stressing that Egyptian youth are the nation’s hope for leading it out of its crisis and creating its bright future.

The MB further called on the Egyptian people to express their rage on April 6th and protest against the policies and practices of the regime that have wasted the country’s wealth, forsaken its national security, and dispossessed Egypt of its leading role emphasizing that this be carried out using peaceful means and according to the constitutional and legal guidelines while being careful to preserve public and private money and property by abstaining from any destructive acts during the event.
