Ibrahim called on the Egyptian public opinion and the civil society to support MB MPs in raising this matter which he stressed that it is an insult to the Parliament, because it is a crime that should not be ignored or tolorated.

Hussein Ibrahim (Vice-Chairman of MB Parliamentary Bloc) in an exclusive statement to Ikhwanweb, has emphasized that bribes, revealed by one of NDP MPs, are political bribes and are crimes punishable by the Egyptian Penal Law, adding that this great funds given to NDP MPs are not given by Ahmad Ezz but are the state"s fund distributed by Ahmad Ezz (Secretary for Organizational Affairs of the Ruling Party).

 

He pointed out to the demands of MB MPs to the Chancellor Gawdat El-Malt (Head of the CAA) to prepare and submit a report on these bribes received by NDP MPs since it is the funds of the state and are a waste of public funds.

 

Ibrahim called on the Egyptian public opinion and the civil society to support MB MPs in raising this matter which he stressed that it is an insult to the Parliament, because it is a crime that should not be ignored or tolorated.

 

It was revealed by one of NDP MPs to the Egyptian Al-Shorouq Newspaper on the conversion of checks by Ahmad Ezz to the accounts of NDP MPs as a regular reward for their support for policies of the ruling party.
