Egyptian security forces in Alexandria launched a widespread house raids campaign Wednesday eve, April 22, against MB members and leaders in Alexandria. Mustafa El-Sharbatly, Medhat Ghoneim (accountant), Mohammed Abdurrahman (engineer), El-Sayyid Sulaiman, Omar Mahmoud, Mohamed Farouk, Ibrahim El-Suheimy, and Hasan El-Iskandarany were all arrested while others had not been present at the time of the raids including Reda Abduh, General Manager of the Ameriyyah Company for Pharmaceutical Drugs, who was at work at the time his house was being raided. The arrests take place under the escalation of the number of MB detainees since early March including several MB leaders. |
