Osama Hamdan, the representative of Hamas Movement in Lebanon, has said that the current round of national reconciliation talks in Cairo had ended without agreement due to the obstinacy of Fatah faction.

Hamdan told Al-Jazeera TV network on Tuesday evening that Hamas was bent on success of the talks but Fatah displayed intransigence over all issues discussed especially the political detention file.

Fatah said that it was committed by agreements with Israel not to end political detention, he underlined.

The Hamas leader noted that a seventh round of dialog talks would be held on 25 July, charging that Fatah was bowing to foreign dictates, which impeded reaching any agreement on national reconciliation
