State security continues in defiance with their insistence in ignoring verdicts to release detainees belonging to the Muslim Brotherhood movement. Eight release orders issued on September 17 have been ignored and detainees remain behind bars.

Detainees share cells measuring 28 square meters, with inmates who are considered dangerous in appalling conditions in Shebin el Kom.

Lawyers have threatened to utilize any legal channels against the Interior Minister in filing for the transfer of the detainees especially as some of the detainees suffer illnesses.

The detainees arrested on September 11 while organizing funeral arrangements for one of the movements pioneers Farag Al Naggar include Fatthy Alserouwy, Tarek Alsharif, Abdul Moety Alnadery, Sobhi Gaafar, Hamdy Megahed, Mohamed Anees, Tamer Ahmed Mohamed and Ali Alsayed Nayel.
