Abdul Ghafar finds himself detained for the fifth consecutive time.
For the fifth time in a row Prosecutors ordered the extension of Dr Ashraf Abdul Ghafar, Vice-Secretary General of the Medical Association and Rapporteur of the Human Relief Agency for a further 15 days pending investigation in the renowned case no.404 of 2009.

For the fifth time in a row Prosecutors ordered the extension of Dr Ashraf Abdul Ghafar, Vice-Secretary General of the Medical Association and Rapporteur of the Human Relief Agency for a further 15 days pending investigation in the renowned case no.404 of 2009. He is included in the same case as Dr Abdul Monem Abul Fotouh.

Dr Ashraf was arrested from the Cairo Airport on his arrival from Turkey where he was attending his son's wedding. He was transferred later to Almarg Prison where he is still awaiting investigations.
