In a new offensive on freedom State Security forces raided the houses and arrested 11 leading members of the Muslim Brotherhood movement. Computers, books, documents and CD's were confiscated from the homes of the detainees who were from numerous towns in Sharqia including Zagazig, Menya Alqamh, Derb Negm, Haheya and Abo Kabir.

In a related issue Sheik Mahdy Helal an imam and preacher turned himself in after Security forces raided his house last Saturday October 10 on the pretext of organizing a rally protesting to the barbaric invasion of Al-Aqsa mosque.
