Arab Doctors Union (ADU) to Form 1st Orthopedic Department in Darfur
Dr. Abdel-Salam Mustafa, General Director for the Ministry of Health, in Darfur, has ascertained that the ministry will meet all the needs and requests of the Arab Doctors Union envoy in order to establish an Orthopedics Department. He stressed that efforts are also in full swing to complete the Urinary Fistula hospital by the Arab Doctors Union in collaboration with the Islamic Medical Association in El-Geneina, in western Darfur.

The Emergency Relief Committee of the Arab Doctors' Association in cooperation with “the Islamic Medical Association” sent Egypt's first Orthopedic Specialist to "El-Geneina hospital in Sudan's Darfur to establish the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the hospital.

The Director-General of Health’s Ministry paid special tribute to the Emergency Relief Committee of the Arab Doctors' Association and the Islamic Medical Association.
 
 
Sudan’s Khartoum Teaching Hospital and Ahmed Kassem Hospital give thanks to the Emergency Relief Committee of the Arab Doctors' Union and the Islamic Medical Association for their support to hospitals with medicine after they had received unused drugs to poor patients.
