Unjust dismissal of 20 teachers in Monofeya.
Teachers were surprised to find themselves discharged by a unanimous vote by the board committee appointed by the Monofeya Governor Samy Emara. The dismissed teachers asserted that these methods were illegal according to article 13 of 2003 and article 139 of 1981 pertaining to education. They explained that contracts were signed verifying that the first three months were a trial period and contracts were automatically renewed following the trial period if they were commendable. Something they all attested to.
