Mansoura students in the Faculty of Arts organized a peaceful rally demonstrating their objection to measures practiced by the University's administration regarding the appointing of the Student body.
Journalists unite objecting to the date set by the Judiciary for the Press Syndicate's elections. The date set coincides with the Adha Eid where many journalists will still be performing the Hajj rituals.

Banners were lifted and slogans chanted voicing the distaste of students including those of the MB who were surprised to find their names eliminated from the nomination lists. Students spread the word revealing the unjust measures of the administration. After surveys were conducted results revealed that more than 80% of the students rejected the appointing of students through the administration and over 90% had no idea there were elections for the Student body. These results exposed the extreme secrecy in which the administration conducted the so called elections. |
