The Ministry of Education continues its series of violations with the illegal detention of numerous members of the Muslim Brotherhood movement. Karem Radwan, deputy executive of the South Cairo bureau, has been in detention for more over a week despite numerous release orders on November 1. State Security forces arrested Radwan along with 2 other members of the MB who were released earlier namely, Sayed Nazeely and Hamdy Ibrahim

Radwan, 55, suffers various afflictions, including kidney problems and constriction of the brain vessels and his health is at risk since suitable health care is not available at the security's headquarters.

Related, State Security Forces raided and arrested 8 leaders of the MB in Cairo and Giza and an additional 8 from Dakahleya after barbaric raids on their houses. Both parties were issued extended detentions pending investigations and interrogations.
