ITUC Condemns Israel’s settlement expansion
The international trade union confederation has condemned the Israeli expansion of the Gilo settlement in the West Bank, describing the act as "illegal and immoral".

BRUSSELS -- The international trade union confederation has condemned the Israeli expansion of the Gilo settlement in the West Bank, describing the act as "illegal and immoral". The ITUC secretary general Guy Ryder issued a statement in Brussels a couple of days ago warning that the expansion step would only increase Palestinian anger and exasperate the conflict. The union represents 175 million workers in 155 countries with 311 branches in various countries including one in Palestine.
