Alexandria: Illegal arrests and detentions of Muslim Brotherhood members continue
State security forces raided houses early dawn arresting members of the Muslim Brotherhood movement in the continued raids in Alexandria.

State security forces raided houses early dawn arresting members of the Muslim Brotherhood movement in the continued raids in Alexandria. The campaign which began before the festive Adha Eid have continued with the arrest of 12 members and issuing of 2 warrants. Mahmoud Fathallah the office administrator of Alexandria's MP Saber Abul Fotouh was also arrested. Other detainees including the
Eng. Farag Abu Haroun Dr Ahmed Shehata Mohamed Fowzy Mohamed Aladawy Islam Mohsen Galal Nada Abbas Heikal Saeed Mahdi Abdul Mordy Mohamed Saeed Allaa Alsayed Medhat Abdul Aziz
It is expected that they will be brought before prosecutors later today.
Charges against the detainees are impractical and unreasonable including the collecting of skins and meat and distributing to the poor and the organizing of prayers before Eid. |
