KUWAIT, (PIC)-- Khaled Mishaal, the political bureau chairman of Hamas, on Tuesday conferred with the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed on Palestinian developments and the ceaseless Israeli aggression on the Palestinian people.

Ezzet Al-Resheq, political bureau member of Hamas, told the PIC that the discussion covered the oppressive Israeli siege on Gaza and its destructive effects on the life of more than one and a half million Palestinians.

He added that the discussions also tackled the Israeli judaization attempts of occupied Jerusalem and the Aqsa Mosque including attempts to divide the holy site between Muslims and Jews as what happened with the Ibrahimi Mosque in Al-Khalil.

Mishaal and the accompanying delegates explained to the Emir latest reconciliation efforts and obstacles impeding it along with Hamas's remarks on the Egyptian reconciliation document, and affirmed Hamas's keenness on ending the internal Palestinian division, Resheq elaborated.

He noted that Sheikh Sabah renewed his country's stable, national stand in support of the Palestine cause and stressed the importance of uniting the Palestinian ranks.

The Emir also supported the establishment of a Palestinian state and backed an end to the siege on Gaza the soonest, Resheq underlined.
