Hamas: Mabhouh was assassinated by the IOF
UAE authorities investigate assassination.
Izzat al-Resheq, member of Hamas's political bureau, said on Friday morning that the Israeli enemy was behind the assassination, on 20 January, of one of the movement leaders in Dubai, stressing that the blood of martyrs will not go in vain and will be a curse that haunts the occupation.

Resheq told PIC that the body of Mahmoud al-Mabhouh arrived at Damascus airport at a late hour on Thursday night where he will be buried after the Friday prayers. He added that the movement along with the concerned authorities in the United Arab Emirates were investigating the circumstances surrounding the assassination of Mabhouh. Resheq said that the martyr was a founder of the Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, and that he was behind the capture of two Israeli occupation soldiers, Ilan Sa'doun and Avi Sbourts to exchange them for Palestinian captives in occupation jails. |
