OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, -- Israeli occupation forces (IOF) wearing plain clothes beat up a 17-year-old Palestinian teen a few days age breaking his foot, the Palestinian prisoners' society reported  on Thursday.

It quoted the victim Mohammed Halabia as saying that a man in plain clothes assaulted him while he was walking in Abu Dis, east of occupied Jerusalem, then others, who he later knew were special forces, arrived at the scene.

Halabia said that he fled the area but they shot at him and he fell after which they captured and beat him all over his body before taking him to Hadassah Ein Karem hospital where doctors fixed a splint to his foot without taking an x-ray or checking his foot.

Another captive in Etzion detention center where Halabia was being held told the society that  Halabia's condition was unstable and that he complained of severe pain in his foot.

Prisoners protested to the prison administration after which he was taken to a hospital and later to Ofer prison, he added.

Related,  local sources in Burkin village, Jenin district, reported that IOF soldiers interrogated a 13-year-old boy in a nearby army camp.

They noted that IOF patrols were seen in various district areas since dawn Thursday.

The Hebrew radio on Thursday said that IOF soldiers rounded up 32 Palestinians in various West Bank areas, 21 of them were detained in Ramallah district.
