Zahhar: Mediators in prisoners exchange deal annoyed by IOA conduct

Political bureau member of Hamas Dr. Mahmoud Al-Zahhar has said that the mediators in the prisoners exchange deal between his movement and the Israeli occupation authority (IOA) were annoyed by the IOA behavior.

Al-Zahhar stressed that the negotiations were not serious after the IOA retracted  all previous agreements.

Speaking to reporters on Monday at the sidelines of the sit-in staged by MPs in Gaza to protest the Ramallah authority's blockage of the PLC session, Zahhar said that no mediator would accept negotiations for years then suddenly one of the parties cancels all agreements and wants to impose new conditions.

The Hamas leader said that the Israeli media reports on his resignation from the exchange negotiations were "lies", and held the IOA responsible for failure to reach a deal.
