GAZA, -- Palestinian minister of religious affairs Dr. Taleb Abu Sha’ar stated Tuesday that the US department of state blessed the Israeli step to build the ruin synagogue near the Aqsa Mosque and demanded the Palestinian Authority (PA) to put an end to what it described as the incitement in the occupied city of Jerusalem.

Dr. Abu Sha’ar quoted spokesman for the state department Philip Crowley as saying that the US administration is very concerned about statements made by PA officials portraying what Israel is doing in Jerusalem in a wrong way and calls upon them to stop inciting Palestinian citizens

“We're deeply disturbed by statements made by several Palestinian officials mischaracterizing the event in question, which can only serve to heighten the tensions that we see, and we call upon Palestinian officials to put an end to such incitement," the US state department spokesman said on Tuesday.
