Chancellor Mahmoud Khodeiry founder of the organization "Egypt for free and fair elections" reported that the recent political rights bill proposed and submitted by the MB MP's and opposing political factions was rejected by the People's Assembly Secretary. Dr Fathi Sorour had cited that the proposal was rejected since it did not adhere to the chartered regulations concerning bill proposals since it exceeded more than 10 names on the list. MB MP Hamdi Hassan maintained that they withdrew the proposition and resubmitted the proposal in 10 different copies signed by 10 MPs. The secretariat however was adamant in rejecting the proposal asserting that it violated the rules and regulations of constitution. |
