Abduction of 70 demonstrators in the constitutional amendments demo today

The final number of abducted activists who called for consitutional amendments today has risen to 70.

The latest count of abducted activists who called for constitutional amendments today has risen to 70.

Sayed Fathy, member of the Legal Committee for the Defence of Egypt's Demonstrators told "Ikhwanweb" that "those abducted were held in police vehicles and we have no idea of their whereabouts" adding "it is expected they will be interrogated if not released before evening".

He denounced the suppression of the right to peaceful demonstration who were restrained by the Egyptian security and the abduction of dozens of demonstrators who called for constitutional amendments, stressing that "This is in direct violation of both the Constitution and international conventions ratified by Egypt".
