Crossings authority calls for opening Rafah terminal
The Palestinian crossings and borders authority has asked the Egyptian authorities to open the Rafah border terminal to facilitate travel of patients, students and holders of foreign residence permits.

The Palestinian crossings and borders authority has asked the Egyptian authorities to open the Rafah border terminal to facilitate travel of patients, students and holders of foreign residence permits. The authority in a statement on Monday said that the crossing opened the last time for five days starting on March 1st more than 40 days ago. It said that the crossing was opened for two days per week on Wednesdays and Thursdays in one direction, back into Gaza. The authority said that thousands of Palestinians have registered their names and were impatiently waiting for opening the terminal. |
