Justice and prisoners minister Mohammed Al-Ghoul has described the Human Right Watch's report accusing the government of Ismail Haneyya of not reporting on violations during the Israeli war on Gaza Strip as sheer lies.

He told reporters on Sunday that the government had presented a comprehensive report to the UN and the high commissioner regarding their queries on the Israeli aggression on Gaza.

The minister urged the human rights groups to be fair and credible in their reports and not to smear the Palestinian resistance.

He said that the HRW report, which called on the world community to bring Hamas to account for committing war crimes during the Israeli war on Gaza, was equating between the victim and the executioner.

The HRW claimed that Hamas "has conducted no serious investigations" into alleged war crimes committed by its cadres during the Israeli war on Gaza.
