Arab League demands cancellation of IOF banishment decision at the UN

 The Arab League has started contacts with Arab ambassadors to the UN and affiliated organizations in Geneva to raise the issue of the Israeli military order number 1650 stipulating the banishment of Palestinians "illegally residing" in the West Bank.

Mohammed Subaih, the assistant Arab League secretary general for Palestine and occupied Arab lands affairs, told reporters on Friday evening that the League urged the Arab ambassadors to hold urgent meetings to discuss means of canceling that decision.

He said that the world community is directly responsible for dealing with such a Zionist racist decision, demanding a similar treatment for Israel to that of the former apartheid regime in South Africa.
