The march which is expected to take place on Monday May 3, in collaboration with all political opposition is in adherence to the Egyptian constitution
The peaceful rally will begin at 11 am and head towards the People's Assembly in an effort to express the citizens' right to freedom of speech and opinion which has been recently suppressed during protests. Campaigners and activists from all trends are welcome to join the march which illustrates the people's rejection to comments made by the ruling party's MP who advocated assault and violence in dealing with demonstrators. The NDP MP's were quoted to have called on security to "shoot the protestors"; which was slammed by numerous international governmental and non-governmental organizations and administrations |
