GAZA, -- Hamas MP Dr. Yehya Al-Abadsa, the rapportuer of human rights committee in the Palestinian legislative council has denounced the Israeli occupation authority's (IOA) trial of Palestinian children.

The lawmaker told Al-Bayan website on Tuesday that the IOA trial of the brothers Nadim and Jihad Kawasba, 14 and 15 years old respectively, from Bethlehem city before the Ofer court west of Ramallah for throwing stones at Israeli occupation soldiers was in violation of all childhood related international doctrines.

He asked human rights groups to prosecute IOA leaders at international courts and to expose Israel at international platforms for this scandal, appealing for immediate intervention to curb such inhuman practices against innocent children.

The Israeli occupation forces have been lately escalating detention of Palestinian children in the West Bank and had killed 400 children in its last war on Gaza.
