In their statement submitted to the Head of the Parliament, labourers called for compensations from the Bank of Cairo for the period they worked for the company, after Adel Agha fled from Egypt in 2008. A former agreement was made between him and the Bank of Egypt to pay employees, three or four months compensations for each working year similar to that of other companies.

Omar Hassan Morsy, an employee in the company, told Ikhwanweb that they were dismissed from the company in 2001 by Adel Taleb Agha, the Syrian- American investor without given reason. He added "Since then, we’ve been going to courts. Verdicts have been ruled in our favour regarding the arbitrary dismissal, and compensations, however none of the decisions were implemented as the Attorney General issued a decision to prevent Adel Agha and all his family members from using the money of the companies he owns".

Workers complained that they have been working on different day by day jobs since their dismissal, but earn very little to feed their children. Furthermore, they are trained only to work in the textile industry
