Jewish settlers escalate arrogant attacks on villagers
Police in the West Bank village of Luban Al-Sharqiya are investigating a fire which seriously damaged a mosque. The fire is the latest, in a series of arrogant settler attacks on villagers' belongings.

The civil Administration in Israel 's authority has said that it will also investigate after local residents' alleged that the fire was an act of arson carried out by Jewish settlers
Three illegal Jewish settlements surround the village and the residents have reported numerous attacks by the settlers including burning of mosques and cars, hate messages sprayed on buildings and uprooted olive trees.
Amnesty and human rights speculate that the attacks are a message to villagers by settlers, who vow will continue in settlement expansion however they believe the Israeli government are not taking the attacks seriously enough.. Israeli and Palestinian officials are expected to resume 'peace talks' this week. |
