MB deny allegations printed in Dostor newspaper by El-Baradei

Dr. Saad Katatni of the Muslim Brotherhood parliamentary bloc and the Executive Bureau, denied allegations by the Dostor newspaper about an interview with Dr. Mohamed El-Baradei published in the French magazine "Paris Match" concerning the Muslim Brotherhood.

Dr. Saad Katatni of the Muslim Brotherhood parliamentary bloc and the Executive Bureau, denied allegations by the Dostor newspaper about an interview with Dr. Mohamed El-Baradei published in the French magazine "Paris Match" concerning the Muslim Brotherhood.

 

 

The magazine had cited that during its interview  with Dr. Mohamed El-Baradei the 'could be presidential candidate' had claimed  that he convinced the popular Muslim Brotherhood to continue  working for justice, democracy and a secular state and practice religion away from other citizens without suppressing others in their religious freedoms.

 

  In a statement to 'Ikhwanweb' Katatni argued that the Muslim Brotherhood have not and will not change their principle of calling for a democratic civil state with Islamic references rather than a religious state as others have inaccurately alleged. Katatni stressed that he had phoned El-Baradei's brother Dr. Ali El-Baradei who was present during the meeting between the Muslim Brotherhood delegation which included himself and El-Baradei to clear the report and correct the claims. He called on El-Baradei to issue a statement to deny the incorrect allegations printed in the Destour newspaper highlighting that the group have never changed their principle and will continue in their cause.
