OCCUPIED JERUSAELM, -- Israeli occupation authorities on Thursday renewed orders barring Sheikh Ali Abu Sheikha and Sheikh Yousef Al-Baz, two leaders of the Islamic movement in 1948-occupied Palestine, from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque for a period of six months each.

The renewal was signed by commander of the home front, according to the emergency law of 1945. The orders stipulate that the two Sheikhs are not allowed within 150 meters of the Old City and Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Israeli police in Wadi Ara summoned the two Sheikhs separately to inform them of the extension of the ban.

The occupation authorities have resorted to these orders in an attempt to limit the influence of prominent leaders in the Islamic movement in the 1948-occupied Palestine on the outcome of the protests against judaization and settlement schemes, as well as the excavations in Jerusalem and under the Aqsa Mosque.
