BETHLEHEM, -- Three foreign solidarity activists were injured when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) used blind force to quell a peaceful anti-wall march in Beit Jala town, Bethlehem district.

The march, which started after the Sunday sermon, grouped tens of Palestinian and foreign activists.

The demonstrators reached the construction area after crossing the barbed wires and IOF barriers and stood before the bulldozers preventing their work for more than two hours.

Dozens of IOF heavily armed troops assaulted the participants and severely beat them wounding three while eight others were arrested.

Eyewitnesses said that the soldiers beat the detainees while dragging them on the ground for a long distance before taking them in.
