![]() Al-Rahma int’l initiates largest agricultural project in Gaza
Representative of the Kuwaiti Al-Rahma international charity in Palestine Dr. Waleed Al-Anjari said the charity has started to carry out an agricultural project considered the largest in the Gaza Strip amongst other projects intended for improving the humanitarian situation there.

KUWAIT, -- Representative of the Kuwaiti Al-Rahma international charity in Palestine Dr. Waleed Al-Anjari said the charity has started to carry out an agricultural project considered the largest in the Gaza Strip amongst other projects intended for improving the humanitarian situation there. In a press statement to the Palestinian information center (PIC), Dr. Anjari explained that the project aims to plant 100, 000 palm, olive and fruit trees, noting that one third of the trees has been planted so far. He revealed that the charity started to carry out other projects such as the establishment of a dairy farm, the restoration of hundreds of houses damaged during the war on Gaza and the building of an integrated center for serving orphans. Al-Rahma official pointed out that the charity is sponsoring more than 6,000 orphans, 2,000 poor families and hundreds of people with special needs. |
