Violations continue as Shura elections near with the state security following orders to thwart all forms of publicity campaigns for the Muslim Brotherhood nominees. Giza 's MB candidate was surprised by the number of security forces who had barricaded the streets barring the campaigners from passing
Thugs and security working for the NDP seized public transport and engaged in hauling in MB supporters into the vehicles as they made their rounds visiting residents and business owners The MB banners and posters have also been damaged as the regime continues to work on annihilating the MB from the political landscape
In a statement to 'Ikhwanweb' the MB candidate ascertained that despite the raging intentions of the thugs to cause serious clashes with his supporters he did not encourage his followers to engage in any hostility. He called on his supporters to stay away from any aggressiveness and adhere to peaceful methods including submitting reports with the violations. Mustafa added "I have much support from the people in this district and have no intentions on losing their faith and belief in the Muslim Brotherhood's principles of tolerance and good will" |
