During a press conference Nasim announced that the commission's offices would not tolerate any electoral violations by security forces during the voting procedure. He urged voters to come forward and report any violations by security forces to the commission

It is expected that each constituency would appoint three lawyers to monitor the balloting and to ensure that the elections would be free and fair

Nasim asserted that a committee would also be established to deal with the media where they will be given news and updates on the elections
